Understanding the Light and Colours
Mellon Udrigle, Wester Ross, Scotland
"Color is the visual effect that is caused by the spectral composition of the light emitted, transmitted, or reflected by objects."
Photography and colours, they are all about the light and even more, the quality of light.
The colour of water is caused by the selective absorption and scattering of white light. Besides this, impurities dissolved or suspended in water or seaweed may give water different colored appearances.
